Day of Information

Here are some things to keep in mind for Saturday:

WEATHER: The Winterfest is an outdoor event. Please dress warmly.  There is a heated tent near the food truck area, besides that tent, the festival is all out in the open.

LOCATION: Remember the Winterfest takes place on the 600 block of South Broad Street. The same location as the Fall Brewfest. Food options are pay as you go, enjoy a selection of food trucks. There is NO ATM on the premises.

TICKET & ID: When you enter we will scan your ticket & check your photo ID. For ease of entry we encourage you to print your ticket, as opposed to bringing your ticket up on your phone. Our scanners are much faster with the printed tickets. If your ticket is on your phone, please set your phone to the brightest setting.

· No one without a ticket & proper photo identification will be allowed to enter.

· No one under the age of 21will be admitted. No babies, no children & no pets.

· Tickets are transferable; however tickets are non-refundable.

NOTE: We want to remind everyone that the Kennett Winterfest is a NON SMOKING EVENT. You may leave the property to smoke and will be readmitted by showing your tasting glass. The glass must be empty when you leave the site. Thanks for your cooperation.

PARKING: If you plan on leaving your car overnight, please park in the parking garage on East Linden Street. Otherwise parking for the day will be available at the Kennett High School lot right across from the event. There is also a small lot just east of event on South Street (part of High School parking lot) that is available. If you decide to park on the street you must obey parking rules or you will be ticketed. WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE having a designated driver or riding with a car share. There will be a designated car share pick up & drop off on the corner of Broad and Birch Streets. 

TIME: All attendees have access to live music, sponsor tables, and more during the entire event. Doors open at 11:15 am for the Def Conn Tasting ticket holders. Regular fest begins at 12:30 pm. All taps will close at 4:00 pm. Your ticket will be scanned at the entrance, where you will receive your tasting cup. Every attempt will be made to make admissions move as quickly and smoothly as possible.

The Kennett Winterfest is a fundraising event with all proceeds going to Historic Kennett Square, a non-profit organization working to keep Kennett Square a regional economic and cultural center. The Kennett Winterfest is intended to be an opportunity to sample some of the best regional and national craft beers accompanied by great food, great music, and great people. Anyone displaying malicious, violent, or otherwise inappropriate behavior will be removed from the festival grounds without refund.

All attendees agree to the following terms and conditions:

By attending this event the ticket bearer fully understands, agrees and accepts sole responsibility for their actions both during and after the event and hereby releases, waives, discharges and holds harmless all persons involved with or associated with the Kennett Winterfest — including event organizers, vendors, sponsors and the Borough of Kennett Square — from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action, whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained by event attendee while participating in the Kennett Winterfest, or while traveling from said event. Attendee is fully aware of any risks and hazards connected with participation in this activity, and hereby allows him/herself to voluntarily participate in said activity. He/she voluntarily assumes full responsibility of any risk of loss, property damage, or personal injury that may be sustained by attendee, or any loss or damage to property in the possession of, as a result of being engaged in such activity. In addition, any person that is visibly intoxicated may be refused additional tastings and/or asked to leave the event.
